The LSC Governing Board is comprised of student members, a member of the faculty, an alumni, staff representatives, a graduate assistant advisor, and the LSC Executive Director.
Simply defined, we are a board of members that govern over the Student Center. We have weekly or bi-weekly meetings to discuss, present, and vote on policies, proposals and to help guide the Student Center executives with functions such as budget, foodcourt, and renovation ideas. We also attend meetings of other committees as liaisons to give and receive information on the many areas in which the LSC functions.
We meet at 6:15pm on Thursdays in the LSC Governing Board room. Please call us ahead of time to find out if we are meeting during a particular week, and if we will be in our normal room at the normal time.
The LSCGB receives and makes decisions on exception requests to LSC policies. If you have an event or program that will need an exception to our policies, please complete the Exception Request Form and submit it to the LSCGB.
